polkadotpapoose.jpg A good sling is a new moms best friend. Babies who are carried cry less and are more aware of their surroundings from a young age. Personally. I prefer the non-adjustable pouch variety since they are easy to use and can double as a blanket, change pad or even a bag when your hands are full. When I came across Polkadot Pappose a few months ago and was immediately smitten. The bold designs along with the sweet little “binkie” pocket caught my attention and I knew right away I wanted one. Tara Anne Harrup, the designer and mom of 2, has fabulous taste and knows what new moms are looking for. All her slings are created using vibrant, high quality designer fabrics, are reversible and easy to wash and wear. I highly recommend checking out her full collection of slings online here. Learn more about babywearing and the benefits here.

PS – a portion of every sale at Polkadot Papoose is donated to Project Rescue.

dripstick.jpgline.jpgThe Dripstik was invented so that both you and your child can enjoy the simple pleasures of a popsicle or an ice cream on a hot day without the mess. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves holding her popsicle in the Dripstik (it comes in 4 kid-friendly colours) and I was pleasantly surprised not to have to hose down the balcony once she was done. Small enough to pack in a diaper bag (stuff it in a plastic bag so you can bring it home sans mess) visit dripstik.com for more information and to get one of your own.
