When baby has a cold, doctors often recommend propping up their mattress to help with breathing. This was always a problem for us. Our crib mattresses aren’t sturdy enough to prop up (regular foam mattress from Ikea) and I never felt safe raising one side of the bed with books. Enter Baby Bed Blocks by Spacebabies. First introduced 17 years ago by a Swedish mom who’s baby had recurring ear infections, the bed blocks have seen tremendous success in Sweden and around the world. When not being used under a bed the blocks are great stacking toys for toddlers.
